The Side Event dedicated to Life Long Lerning took place last November 14, 2016, in the framework of the United Nations Climate Chage Conference (COP22). This meeting was chaired by Prof. El Khanchoufi Abdessalam, from USMBA, partner in LOGIC project. Participants debated a new mode of training, training that meets the needs of this new labour market affected by Climate Change, which requires adaptation and mitigation actions in many areas.
The link between LOGIC and the COP22 is the Lifelong Learning Centres and Observatory which are at the heart of the project. These centres must promote a catalogue of training courses that meet the needs of future jobs, which currently include highly in-demand requests for the development of "green jobs". The labour market will require people with training on renewable energies, with strong competences in sustainable development.
